June 11th 2010
We now have charitable status and new a new Trustee in Patti Saxby so we are all set for the next stage. Also the next visit to Togo is now organised. (see below for further details)
It is amazing but the village have clean water!!! With lots of help from every one and some big help from one or two people we are there. Without going in to a long story we now have two wells both providing clean water! Check out the link and see the photos.

Rod Unger went out to Togo in January to help set up the project. As result of these discussions and more importantly having gone back to the village Rod realised that the job is not finished yet. There is a lot more to do before anyone can say that the village have chance of prospering. Rod said "We are trying to provide them with a platform for a decent standard of living but the platform needs at least three legs and preferably four. These "legs" are help with the water, micro finance (both now completed) , the school and the clinic". Two down two to go!
The school has virtually no equipment, very, very few text books and a badly leaking roof.
The hospital has no medications or equipment to speak of, the ceiling has fallen in and there are bats living in the roof. Obviously neither building has had any water until now and still has no electricity or sanitation.
Education and health are essential for Agome-sevah to have a chance. We have to do something about it whilst the villagers get on their feet with the help that we have already provided. They are really doing their best and are extremely grateful for what we have done.
Surely we can help them a little bit more.
Rod and Mandy Unger with Teun and Anoma in the Netherlands will be fronting up the raising of more money much of which we hope will come from charities that we can apply to once we obtain charitable status.

Total raised so far £11900 as of 11/06/10
One of the new ways we are raisng money is to provide a powerpoint presentation re Togo and what we are doing by way of an introduction to this unique lifestyle. If you know anyone who would make a contribution to the fund for such a talk let us know!
Thank you to everyone for all your effort. We will of course keep you updated on the news as it happens. The next big event is that Mandy, Rod with daughter Dani together with Teun and Anoma along with their daughter Maelya are all going to Togo in September taking with them as much as they can carry for the school. Do you have anything that would be of use for the school?
